Mission Statement

KTBP Community Radio exists to enrich and unify the Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux Reservation through information, entertainment and community involvement.

Value Statement

KTBP Community Radio provides a non-commercial medium to our listening population and  partners that respects and strengthens the diverse fabric of our community.

Philosophy

The members and staff of KTBP believe that our programming should represent the community of the Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux Reservation. Given the wide variety of lifestyles found locally, we strive to enrich our listeners’ lives by providing eclectic music, topical information, and a rich mix of local, regional, national, and international news, features and documentaries. 

We distinguish ourselves from commercial stations through our commitment to community participation, support, and control. We provide public access to the airwaves through our on-going broadcast training which is open to all community members. We serve our local community with local programming. We are a listener - supported radio station with programming provided largely by volunteers. KTBP-FM Radio fosters a sense of community by providing a common link for a wide variety of listeners.
